Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Brandy began singing at the age of twelve and added rap onto her long list of talents while attending the city’s Douglas High School. It became apparent to all that knew her that she was the missing link in female rap. Brandy knows that there is more facing today’s woman than the typical ‘girlfriend issues’. Though you can’t always escape the trials of relationships or the need to occasionally pat yourself on the back; love is not always on the rocks and there’s not always a need for self inflicted ego boosts.
